Error Code: EH 03 – Indoor Fan Speed Out of Control
What this means:
The indoor fan is running either too fast or too slow for a continuous period, triggering a fault. When fan speed operates outside the normal range, the unit shuts down to protect internal componentsTS21.
Try this first (quick reset):
Turn off the power to the system.
Wait at least 2 minutes.
Turn the system back on and check if the error clears.
If the error clears — the issue may have been temporary.
If it returns — continue with the steps below.
Next steps (for technicians):
Manually rotate the indoor fan (power off):
If it doesn’t spin easily → inspect for physical obstructions or mechanical faults.
Check fan motor wiring:
If miswired → reconnect properly.
Measure voltage from the indoor PCB to the fan motor:
Use the following voltage guide:
Red (Pin 1) to Black (Pin 3): 192–380V
White (Pin 4) to Black (Pin 3): 13.5–16.5V
Yellow (Pin 5): 0–6.5V (Vsp signal)
Blue (Pin 6): 13.5–16.5V
If voltage is outside range → replace the main PCB.
If fan motor has UVW terminals (chip on PCB):
Measure U–V, U–W, and V–W resistance.
If resistance is not equal → replace the fan motor.
If resistance is normal → replace the PCB.
What you might need:
Fan motor
Fan assembly
Indoor PCB
Connection wires
Helpful tip:
Spin test is the simplest first step. If the fan rotates freely but still fails under power, check wiring and voltage before assuming the board or motor needs replacement.
