Error Code: EH 03 – IDU Fan Speed Out of Control
Applies to LETO and AURA Series
What this means:
The indoor fan is spinning too fast or too slow and not staying within the normal speed range. This can be caused by a faulty fan motor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the control board.
Try this first (easy fix):
Turn off the power to your mini split completely.
Wait 2 full minutes.
Turn the power back on and check the display.
If the error is gone — your system is back to normal.
If the error returns — continue below.
Next steps (for technicians):
Manually spin the fan with the power off. If it doesn't spin freely, check for blockages or mechanical faults.
Inspect and correct wiring connections to the fan motor.
If wiring is good and the fan spins freely, test voltage to the fan motor from the indoor PCB.
If voltages are outside the normal range, the indoor main PCB may be faulty.
What you might need:
Fan motor
Fan assembly
Connection wires
Indoor main PCB
Helpful tip:
A fan that doesn’t turn easily or receives incorrect voltage signals from the board can trigger this error. If unsure how to test voltages or check motor resistance, contact a certified technician.
