If error codes E3 or EH 03 appear on your indoor unit, it means that the indoor fan speed is not operating within the normal range.
During Initial Start-Up and Commissioning:
- Check the connections between the fan motor and the indoor control board.
- Inspect for any obstructions that may be preventing the fan motor from spinning.
If the System Has Been Commissioned but Now Displays the Error Code:
Turn off the unit at the breaker, wait for 2 minutes, and then power it back on. If the error code persists, follow these steps:
Verify the connections between the fan motor and the indoor control board.
Check for any obstructions preventing the fan motor from spinning. If found, clear the obstruction and restart the unit.
Manually rotate the fan blade. If there is resistance or the motor's bearings feel rough and do not spin smoothly, the indoor motor needs to be replaced.
When the indoor unit is on standby, measure the voltage between pin-1 and pin-3, as well as pin-4 and pin-3 on the fan motor connector on the indoor control board. If the voltages do not match the values in the chart below, the indoor control board must be replaced.
DC motor voltage input and output - 220v
DC motor voltage input and output - 110v
