Short answer: a unit that beeps during Alexa setup almost always has the USB kit not fully pushed in. Turn the unit off, reinsert the kit firmly until it is fully seated, then put the unit back in AP mode and pair again.
1. Reseat the USB kit
- Turn the unit off with the remote.
- Lift the front panel (on AURA units, open the display box) and remove the USB kit.
- Push it back in firmly and fully, with the flat side facing out.
- Turn the unit on. If it still beeps, remove the kit and push it in again harder; it should not move once seated.
2. Check you're using the right app
The included kit only works with the Amazon Alexa app. It will not pair with the Senville app. The Senville Smart WiFi Kit (OSK102) is the one that uses the Senville app.
3. Check your WiFi
Your phone must be on a 2.4 GHz network, not 5 GHz. Many routers broadcast both under one name; connect to the 2.4 GHz one.
4. Pair again
- Press the LED button on the remote 7 times until the display shows AP.
- Add the unit right away in the Alexa app: Devices, +, Add Device, Air Conditioner, Senville.
- If the unit was added before, remove it from the Alexa app first, then add it again.
- Still failing: restart the unit and your phone, update the Alexa app, and repeat.
