How do I set up Alexa on my Senville mini split?

Follow these steps to connect your Senville mini split to Alexa using the Alexa-enabled USB kit:


Step 1: Download the Alexa App

  1. Download the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone.
  2. Create an account or sign in.

Step 2: Install the Alexa Module (USB Kit)

For LETO Series:

  1. Open the front panel of your indoor unit.
  2. Insert the Alexa-enabled USB key into the designated slot inside the unit.

For AURA Series:

  1. Disassemble the display box.
  2. Insert the USB key into the appropriate slot.

Step 3: Attach the QR Code

  1. Locate the QR code provided with the Wi-Fi kit.
  2. Attach it to the side panel of your mini split where it is easily accessible, or take a photo and store it securely.

    You will need this QR code to register your device.


Step 4: Enable AP Mode

  1. Turn on your air conditioner.
  2. Press the LED button on the remote control 7 times until the indoor unit displays "AP."

Step 5: Connect in the Alexa App

  1. Open the Alexa app and tap the Devices icon in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Tap the + icon in the top-right corner and select Add Device.
  3. Choose Air Conditioner as the device type and select Senville from the brand list.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Congratulations! Your smart air conditioner is now connected to Alexa.


Troubleshooting

If your air conditioner isn’t recognized or you encounter issues:

  1. Turn on your air conditioner.
  2. Press the LED button on the remote control 7 times until the indoor unit displays "AP."
  3. Retry the setup process in the Alexa app.
