Error Code: EH 62 / EH 66 – Evaporator Coil Inlet Temperature Sensor (T2B) Open or Short Circuit

What this means:
The system has detected a fault in the T2B sensor, which monitors the evaporator coil inlet temperature. This error is triggered if the sensor’s voltage falls below 0.06V or rises above 4.94V, indicating an open circuit or short circuitTS23.

Try this first (quick reset):

  1. Turn off the unit power completely.

  2. Wait 2 minutes.

  3. Turn the system back on and check if the error clears.

  • If the error clears — the issue may have been a temporary fault.

  • If the error remains — follow the diagnostic steps below.

Next steps (for technicians):

  1. Check the wiring between T2B sensor and PCB:

    • Ensure all connections are tight and clean.

    • Repair or replace loose or corroded wires.

  2. Measure the resistance of the T2B sensor:

    • If resistance is out of range → replace the T2B sensor.

    • If resistance is normal but the fault persists → replace the indoor PCB.

What you might need:

  • T2B temperature sensor

  • Indoor PCB

  • Connection wires

Helpful tip:
EH 62 and EH 66 are interchangeable in this context and refer to the same sensor issue. This is a common fault group shared with other sensor codes like EH 60–EH 61 and EC 56.
