Error Code: EH 61 – Indoor Coil Temperature Sensor (T2) Error

What this means:
The indoor coil temperature sensor (T2) is either shorted or open. This happens when the sensor’s voltage drops below 0.06V or rises above 4.94V, which causes the system to shut down to avoid operating with inaccurate temperature readingsTS23.

Try this first (quick reset):

  1. Turn off the power to the system completely.

  2. Wait 2 full minutes.

  3. Turn the system back on and check the display.

  • If the error clears — it may have been a temporary issue.

  • If the error remains — proceed with sensor testing.

Next steps (for technicians):

  1. Check the wiring between T2 sensor and indoor PCB:

    • Ensure the wires are not damaged and are properly connected.

  2. Measure the resistance of the T2 sensor:

    • If resistance is out of range → replace the T2 sensor.

    • If resistance is within range, but the error persists → replace the indoor PCB.

What you might need:

  • T2 sensor

  • Indoor PCB

  • Connection wires

Helpful tip:
EH 61 is part of a group of voltage-based sensor errors (like EH 60 and EC 56). Always confirm proper voltage and resistance before replacing the PCB.
