Error Code: PC 01 – Outdoor Voltage Protection
Applies to LETO and AURA Series
What this means:
The outdoor unit has detected abnormal voltage — either too high or too low. This can damage key components like the compressor and IPM, so the system automatically shuts down as protection.
Try this first (easy check):
Turn off the unit completely.
Wait 2 full minutes.
Turn the unit back on and check the display.
If the error clears — it may have been a temporary power issue.
If it returns — continue with the steps below.
Next steps (for technicians):
Check the power supply:
Confirm voltage input is stable and within acceptable range (typically 220–400V AC).
Check all electrical connections and wiring:
If wires are damaged or loose, correct or replace them.
Measure the voltage between P and N terminals:
In standby, should read DC ~310V, 340V, or 380V depending on model.
During startup, should remain within rated voltage.
If voltage is not stable:
Replace the IPM board.
If voltage is stable but error persists:
Check the reactor.
If faulty, replace it.
If functional, replace the outdoor PCB.
What you might need:
IPM module board
Outdoor PCB
Reactor
Power supply wires
Helpful tip:
This error often appears after power fluctuations or if the unit is installed in an area with unstable voltage. Always verify line voltage before replacing any internal parts.
