Commissioned 110V Unit Not Powering On

Modified on Thu, 17 Oct at 1:41 PM

If a previously functioning 110V system stops powering on, possibly due to a power outage, lightning strike, or surge, the issue might be with the outdoor control board, which could be blocking power to the inverter board.

  1. Check Voltage:
Use a multimeter to measure between L and G.
    • If the reading is 110V, the outdoor control board is likely faulty and needs replacement.
    • If the reading is 0V, there’s an issue with the incoming power supply. It’s recommended to have a qualified electrician inspect it, as a surge might have caused other damage.
