P1 / PC 01 - Error Code Diagnostic

Modified on Wed, 25 Sep at 11:50 AM

If the error code P1 or PC 01 appears on your indoor unit, it signals an over-voltage or under-voltage

protection issue.

To address this, first, check the power supply for the outdoor unit, which can be either 110V or 220V. You can find this information on the nameplate on the outdoor unit's right side. If the power supply does not match the unit's specified requirements, adjust it to provide the correct voltage.

Testing the Reactor:

Using a multimeter, measure the resistance of the reactor, ensuring it is not connected to the capacitor. The normal resistance should be close to zero ohms.

If the resistance differs from this value, the reactor must be replaced. If the reactor passes the test, then replace the outdoor control board.
