Error Code: EC 51 – ODU EEPROM Parameter Error
Applies to LETO and AURA Series
What this means:
The outdoor unit’s main board (PCB) isn’t getting the expected feedback from its memory chip (EEPROM). This chip stores important settings and data for the unit to operate. If the signal is lost or unreadable, the system may stop working properly.
Try this first (easy fix):
Turn off the power to your mini split completely.
Wait 2 full minutes.
Turn the power back on and check if the error is still showing.
If the error is gone — your system is working normally.
If the error returns — the outdoor PCB likely needs to be replaced.
What you might need:
Replacement outdoor PCB
Helpful tip:
The EEPROM chip is built into the outdoor control board and cannot be replaced on its own. If it fails, the full PCB usually needs to be swapped. This error is the outdoor version of the same EEPROM issue that can happen in indoor units.
