Error Code: FH CC – Refrigerant Sensor Error

What this means:
This error occurs when the indoor unit either:

  • Receives a fault signal from the refrigerant sensor for 10 seconds, or

  • Receives no feedback at all for 150 seconds.

It indicates a sensor fault, disconnection, or wiring issue.

Try this first (quick reset):

  1. Turn off power to the system.

  2. Wait 2 minutes.

  3. Turn the system back on and check the display.

  • If the error clears — the sensor may have reconnected.

  • If the error remains — begin troubleshooting.

Next steps (for technicians):

  1. Check the wiring between the refrigerant sensor and indoor PCB:

    • Ensure all wires are securely connected and not damaged.

  2. If wiring is OK:

    • Replace the refrigerant sensor.

  3. If replacing the sensor doesn’t resolve the issue:

    • Replace the indoor main PCB.

What you might need:

  • Connection wires

  • Refrigerant sensor

  • Indoor main PCB

Helpful tip:
This fault is closely related to EH C3. Always start by checking for proper wiring before replacing hardware.
