Error Code: EL 0C – System Lacks Refrigerant
Applies to LETO and AURA Series

What this means:
The system has detected signs of low refrigerant, usually based on repeated compressor shutdowns and abnormal temperature readings. This may be due to a leak or an undercharged system.

Try this first (easy check):

  1. Turn off the unit completely.

  2. Wait 15 minutes.

  3. Turn the unit back on and feel the indoor air outlet.

  • If cool or warm air is blowing — the unit may still be functional, but the refrigerant level should be checked.

  • If no airflow or incorrect temperature — continue with the troubleshooting steps below.

Next steps (for technicians):

  • Inspect for visible refrigerant leaks.

  • Check that the T2 sensor is securely in place.

  • Make sure the T1 sensor is not too close to the evaporator coil.

  • If a leak is found, repair it and recharge the system to the specified level.

  • If no issue is found but error persists, replace the indoor PCB.

What you might need:

  • Additional refrigerant (about 10% of the rated charge may be missing)

  • Leak repair tools

  • Indoor PCB (if system logic is failing)

  • Proper installation tools for sensor positioning

Helpful tip:
This error is based on performance behavior over time — it’s not triggered by a single sensor. Ensuring proper refrigerant charge and accurate sensor placement can often resolve it.
