Error Code: EC 51 – Outdoor EEPROM Parameter Error
What this means:
The outdoor PCB is not receiving proper feedback from the EEPROM chip — a memory component that stores the system’s operating parameters. Without this feedback, the system cannot function correctly.
Try this first (easy reset):
Turn off power to the unit completely.
Wait 2 full minutes.
Turn the unit back on and check if the error clears.
If the error is gone — the unit is functioning normally.
If the error remains — continue below.
Next steps (for technicians):
If the error continues after restarting, the EEPROM chip has failed or is not readable by the PCB.
The EEPROM is integrated into the outdoor control board and is not replaceable separately.
Replace the entire outdoor PCB.

Helpful tip:
EEPROM stands for “Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory.” It stores critical system settings and must be readable for normal startup. This issue is typically hardware-related and not repairable without board replacement.
