Error Code: EC 07 – Outdoor Fan Speed Out of Control
Applies to LETO and AURA Series

What this means:
The outdoor fan is spinning at a speed that’s too high or too low for normal operation. When this happens for an extended period, the unit will shut down to protect itself. It can be caused by a faulty fan motor, incorrect wiring, or a problem with the outdoor PCB.

Try this first (easy fix):

  1. Turn off power to your mini split completely.

  2. Wait 2 full minutes.

  3. Turn the power back on and check the display.

  • If the error is gone — the system is back to normal.

  • If the error remains — continue below.

Next steps (for technicians):

  • With power off, try turning the outdoor fan by hand:

    • If it doesn’t spin easily, inspect for physical obstruction or a damaged motor.

  • Check wiring to the fan motor — ensure connections are correct and secure.

  • Measure the voltage output from the PCB to the fan motor:

    • If voltage is incorrect → replace the outdoor PCB.

    • If voltage is normal but the fan speed is still out of control → replace the fan motor.

What you might need:

  • Outdoor fan motor

  • Outdoor fan assembly

  • Connection wires

  • Outdoor PCB

Helpful tip:
If your model uses a DC fan motor, check voltage readings between key pins (like Red–Black and White–Black). If voltages fall outside the expected ranges (e.g., Vcc not within 13.5–16.5V), the PCB may be at fault.
